Kevin M. McDermott II is an employment attorney and a Partner at Scott & Winters Law Firm, LLC. Kevin’s legal practice is focused on enabling employees, workers, and professionals to be treated fairly and paid lawfully by their employers. Kevin represents individuals and groups of employees in class, collective and individual actions, and he has briefed and won before Ohio’s Eighth District Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Kevin is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the Northern District of Ohio Federal District Court, the Southern District of Ohio Federal District Court, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the District of North Dakota Federal District Court, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Kevin attended the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law after receiving his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from The Ohio State University. Before entering practice, Kevin clerked for the Federal Public Defender and the Cuyahoga County Public Defender and received Legal Intern Certification from the Ohio Supreme Court. At Ohio State Kevin was a Legislative Page for the State of Ohio Senate, a Politics, Society and Law Scholar, and attended the University of Oxford in Oxford, UK through the Undergraduate Summer Law Program.
